I'm Marc Langs, an experienced C-level executive with over 35 years of broad experience in finance, operational managment, and mergers and acquisitions. This background evolved into a successful consulting practice where I partnered with private equity groups as the primary interface for their portfolio companies and worked hand-in-hand with management teams to improve performance and cross-sector alignment. All tolled, I've enjoyed an exciting career, all of which has led me to earn the opportunity of chairing Vistage here in Northwest Michigan.

I enjoy working with business leaders to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. To accomplish this, I collaborate closely with CEOs and executives to combine strategic vision with tactical expertise which translates into organizational improvement, implementation of best practices, and increased shareholder value.  

 

My wife Carolyn and I call the bohemian jewel of Northern Michigan, Traverse City, our home.  We are enjoying having a front-seat to our four children as they have begun the next generation of our family.  From Tacoma WA to Chicago to Washington DC, we find opportunities to travel coast-to-coast to spend time with our eight grandchildren. Work/life balance is important to me — it's a core value I bring to my coaching life as a Vistage Chair.
